Now y’all know I’m more about dismantling oppressive systems, and less about placing the burden on the individual consumer, but when I see a product doing it right, I want to support.

This company has really thought through its supply change to dramatically reduce the carbon emissions of laundry detergent.

  • No plastic, shipped in compostable envelopes
  • No heavy liquid that uses tons of energy to ship
  • No parabens, bleach, or dyes–all biodegradable
  • Carbon-neutral company

Not only is this product helping individual consumers reduce their footprint but it is also challenging the current paradigm to do better!

I have been using this product for a few months now and am very happy with the results! Please consider switching your detergent and use this link for $10 off your first order!

Please, my friends, let’s avoid using words like “unbelievable,” “unreal,” and certainly let’s not blame it on “2021” to describe the wildfires that happened in Boulder County yesterday.

These disasters are tragic, horrifying, devastating, and VERY believable.

They have been predicted over and over.

This is the climate crisis.

This is the negative feedback loops triggering.

We are frogs in a pot slowing (not so slowly) boiling.

If you think the status quo is too hard to shift, just imagine how hard it will be when these disasters are the status quo. It’s coming. JUST LOOK UP.

I know of no better place to experience the visceral effects of Mother Earth’s nurturance than the hot spring.

These fabled waters have been sought out across the world for millennia and the healing powers are well researched, however, I have another theory as to why these steamy pools are renowned across cultures.

In the place where the fiery depths of Mother Earth’s core (soul) meet her life-giving waters (blood), there’s a special magic.

To be immersed in this sacred union is to be held in the womb of the world.

Inspiration is born and bred in these watery cracks; lying back, fully surrendered, gazing into the cosmic wonder and infinite possibilities of Father Sky.

In this place where life perseveres against all odds and where life first sprang forth on this planet, I am nourished. I am renewed. I am healed.

Where do you find God?

Most humans look to the sky and there’s no doubt I see her in the expansive cosmos, but I find she also resides by the mushrooms and in the depths of my womb.

In the deep, dark, damp places where decomposition and transformation happen; that’s where I find her. In the space of liminality is where I feel her presence most.

Maybe that’s why I came to Earth at this time. To feel God’s presence so strongly in this murky era of great transition, potential, and evolution. To feel her swirling winds of change sweep far and wide.

Maybe God is all around us.

You should give a fuck.

You really should, but only about things that set your soul on fire. You should work hard too, but only towards things that give you life. Let’s drop the concept of hustling and grinding to get where/what we want, and instead align ourselves with our highest purpose and mission. You can have it all if you are brave enough to decide what really matters and focus your energy on that.

Save your fucks for magical shit.
